The Valencia Region Council of Chambers and FACSA presented REMEB project to PARTENALIA

The Valencia Region Council of Chambers and FACSA met on 2nd December with Castellón County Council, Spain, and PARTENALIA, European Association of Intermediate local authorities. They presented REMEB project and requested  their support to raise awareness about the project at European level.


REMEB consortium participated at the XI Technical Seminars for Wastewater Treatment organised by ESAMUR

11th and 12th November 2015, Murcia, Spain

REMEB project was proposed as a new innovative and eco-friendly alternative, by FACSA, in ESAMUR annual Technical Seminars. This XI edition focused on “Remodelling and renovation of urban Waste Water treatment facilities”. The seminars had the presence of more than 300 professional attendees related to water sector, agriculture, environment and health.


Regional Infoday H2020 on Climate action included REMEB project in its programme as a success story

The Universitat Jaume I of Castellón was invited to participate in the Regional Infoday H2020 on Climate Action, held in Valencia, as a success story. The event, which took place on 10th November, brought together experts from technological centres, universities and businesses in Valencia Region who shared experiences and best practices for research and innovation project proposals.


Replicability of ceramic membrane manufacturing at pilot scale by ITC-UJI, CENTRO CERAMICO and SAM

9th -12th November, Castellón, Spain

The second week of November the three ceramic research centres in REMEB consortium worked in the pilot plant, mixing the composition of the ceramic membrane, extruding, sintering and characterizing the obtained membranes. The aim of this action was to standardize the procedure of membrane manufacturing among the 3 ceramic research centres in Spain, Italy and Turkey.


The three ceramic research centres, together with FACSA, visited a wastewater treatment plant to know in detail the process where the membranes will be implemented.


FACSA exhibited at the International Fair for Water Efficient Management Efiaqua with REMEB project

20th, 21st and 22nd October, Valencia, Spain

FACSA presented REMEB project at Efiaqua International Fair. This fair held in Valencia, Spain, from 20-22 October welcomed a great number of visitors among which industrial services professionals, businessmen and technicians from public administrations, linked to this sector, looking for state-of-the-art technology


Horizon 2020 European project for research and innovation REMEB kicked off

14th and 15th September, Benicàssim, Castellón, Spain

REMEB consortium met in September to launch the project and set the working plan to be developed during the next three years. The project responds to social challenges linked to climate change and the environment through the development of a recycled ceramic membrane bioreactor for wastewater reuse. It has been co-funded by the H2020 programme for research and innovation.

SAM and Centro Ceramico are working on ceramic membranes development in Turkey and Italy, respectively
