FACSA, REMEB project lead partner, has participated in the VII Simposio Iberoamericano en Ingeniería de Residuos (VII Ibero-American Symposium in Waste Engineering). The meeting, held in Santander, Spain, had as a common thread circular economy and the efficient use of resources to minimize waste generation.

REMEB is expounded as a success story in the Horizon 2020 programme training workshop in Bogotá

On Wednesday 7th June, the REMEB project, aiming to develop and validate a low-cost membrane bioreactor based on different wastes in order to reuse wastewater, was presented by Dr Sc Javier Rincón, from the Universidad Antonio Nariño at the training workshop on the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme in Bogotá.

The REMEB membrane bioreactor has already reached its final destination, the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Aledo, Spain, where it will be validated. Having passed the highway point of the project, the partners of the REMEB consortium have reached one of their milestones with its implementation.
