The REMEB project in multitudinous CEVISAMA and QUALICER 2018

ITC-UJI and CCCV (Valencia Region Council of Chambers of Commerce) disseminated the REMEB project, which is developing sustainable ceramic membranes based on agro-industrial wastes for a wastewater treatment system, at the CEVISAMA 2018 international fair from February 5 to 9, 2018.

It is one of the leading events in the world ceramic sector that takes place in Valencia, Spain yearly and that this edition brought together around 85,000 visitors from 38 countries.

ITC-UJI presented a poster of the project and counted on the support of the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Machinery for the Ceramic Industry (ASEBEC) since the work was showcased in their stand.

CCCV distributed leaflets and provided information to ceramic tile manufacturers and other professionals.

Likewise, on February 12 and 13, ITC-UJI participated in QUALICER 2018, the Global Congress for Tile Quality, which is held consecutively to CEVISAMA at the Chamber of Commerce of Castellón.

The congress has been held for more than 20 years in the province of Castellón, one of the most important European regions for tile manufacture. This event, with around 600 congress attendees, brings together international ceramic tile manufacturing technicians who debate innovations in this sector for two days.

ITC-UJI participated with the poster of REMEB “Improvement of behaviour in the extrusion of low plasticity ceramics”. The Turkish ceramic research center SAM and CCCV did not want to miss the appointment, which led to a reunion between some members of the project.
